Bio

Doctor in Social Communication. Researcher and professor at the School of Communication, Arts and Design – Famecos at PUCRS. He is a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Communication at PUCRS. He was a visiting professor at the Comparative Media Studies/Writing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in the United States, and at the Faculté des Sciences du Sujet et de la Société at the Paul Valéry University, Montpellier III, in France. Father of Maria Beatriz.

He is a researcher at Ubilab, Mobility and Media Convergence Research Laboratory, and coordinator of the research group JEDI – Games and Interactive Digital Entertainment. CNPq PQ-2 level researcher.
