Bio

Chico Pereira is a composer and producer of soundtracks for film and television. He is a professor in the Audiovisual Production and Animation Design programs at Feevale University in Novo Hamburgo. He holds a Master's degree in Creative Industry from the same university, with research focused on independent careers in the music market. He has been active in the audiovisual and music industries for 24 years. As a documentarian and composer of soundtracks, he has received nominations and awards at festivals such as Cine Serra (Caxias do Sul/RS), SMVC (Santa Maria/RS), Curta Canedo (Senador Canedo/GO), and the Gramado Film Festival.

Playlist

I created this playlist and update it from time to time... I love discovering new independent Brazilian artists, it's always been a topic I’ve had a lot of affection for. I studied this in my dissertation, and there are several tracks from acquaintances and personal friends in there :)
