Bio

Felipe Bonow Soares is a Senior Lecturer in Communications and Media at London College of Communication (LCC) – University of the Arts London. He earned his PhD in Communication and Information from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil in 2020. His research interests include online discourse, political communication, social media, and disinformation.

Member of the Digital Cultures and Economies Research Hub (UAL, UK); collaborator at the Media, Discourse, and Social Network Analysis - Midiars Research Lab (UFPEL/UFRGS, Brazil); collaborator at the Social Media Lab (Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada).

Playlist

This is an important playlist for me at the moment because AC/DC has been my favorite band for years. However, I have never had the chance to see them live. I couldn't go to Argentina in 2009, and I was planning to see them in 2016 but the tour was cut short due to Brian's health issues. As I write this, I already have my tickets to see them in London in July 2024.
