Bio
Dr Ludmila Lupinacci (she/her) is a Lecturer in Digital Media at the University of Leeds (UK). She holds a PhD in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and an MSc in Communication and Information from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (PPGCOM/UFRGS). She is interested in critical approaches to social media in everyday life, phenomenology of mediation, and technology and the body, having published on topics such as liveness, algorithmic temporality, and mindless scrolling. Currently, she is working on a project aiming to theorise and empirically capture the platformization of moods and 'vibes'.
